The ideal Ragdoll is a well-balanced cat, The Ragdoll has a medium to long coat, which is plush, silky and non-matting in texture. The Ragdoll is a pointed breed in four colors: seal, chocolate, blue and lilac. Each of the Ragdoll colors also comes in three patterns: color point, mitted and bi-color. The patterns are distinguished by the varying amounts of white allowed. Because the Ragdoll is generally considered a slow-maturing breed, full coat color is not achieved until the cat is around two years old.
